• It is incredibly important to not get liquid on any electronics or in the ribbon cable ports on the printhead as it can cause multiple parts to short circuit if power is run through them with liquid present 
•

• First, the printhead needs to be removed:

• Once the printhead is removed, have all 6 printhead channels soak in either:
• - Blue Cleaning Solution
• - Green Xtreme Cleaning Solution
• - Pinkish Last Chance Solution

• Allow the printhead channels to soak in the solution for a minimum of 8 hours.
•  
• After being allowed to soak for the necessary time, flush each printhead channel manually with any of the above products.
• It is important to alternate between the waterfall method and the reverse method so that the build-up inside will loosen up.

• Once the printhead is done being flushed, it must be allowed to dry completely before being put back in the printer; allowing the printhead to dry for 24 hours is best.
•  
• After putting the printhead back into the machine, prime all of the dampers before reseating them to ensure they are all properly filled with ink.

• With all of the dampers primed and reseated, power the printer on, launch the WIC program and perform x2 strong ink charges and a strong head cleaning.
